("TomCo" or the "Company")
Granting of Share Options / PDMR Dealing
TomCo Energy plc, the oil shale exploration and development company focused on using innovative technology to unlock unconventional hydrocarbon resources, announces it has granted options to subscribe for, in aggregate, 5,142,855 new ordinary shares of no par value each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") ("Options").
The Options have been granted to the Company's Executive Directors under an Enterprise Management Incentives Share Option Plan ("EMI Scheme") and to the Company's Non-executive Directors under an unapproved scheme and have an exercise price of 5.25 pence per share, being the closing price on the date of grant.
Following this grant of the Options, the Directors will be interested in the following number of ordinary shares and options:

The Options are exercisable for five years from the date of vesting and will vest on the following basis:
· One-third on or after 30 November 2018;
· One-third on or after 30 November 2019; and
· One-third on or after 30 November 2020.
The 5,142,855 Options represent, in aggregate, approximately 8.3% of the Company's current issued share capital.
