United States BPS Advisory Board Update

Innovation Group (LSE: TIG.L), a global provider of Business Process Services ("BPS") and software solutions to the insurance, fleet, motor and property industries, is pleased to announce the appointments of Dina Gray, Simon Wilson and Scott McAlindin to its US BPS Advisory Board.

The US BPS Advisory Board, formed in April 2014 and consisting of these three members alongside Lewis Miller, CEO for North America BPS, will bring invaluable expertise to the company, particularly in the areas of strategy, organisational performance, technology and insurance claims handling.

The primary objective of the Advisory Board is to further enhance the Group's ability to provide Tier 1 first notice of loss and repair management capabilities to all insurers and fleet providers in North America, unpinned by a continual focus on process streamlining and technological enablement.

The Advisory Board will be chaired by Dina Gray. Dina has served as an executive director on a publicly quoted board where she had responsibility for all aspects of intellectual capital. Over the past 12 years Dina has sat on a number of Boards as a non-executive and has consulted at the highest levels on organisational strategy and performance. Her extensive experience in these areas will help focus attention in the US on key strategic imperatives and ensure a strong organisational underpinning for future growth.

Simon Wilson has over 30 years of financial, operational and strategic experience in both public and private companies across a range of IT sectors. Simon has served on a number of boards and advisory committees and has held CEO, CFO and corporate development roles, including 7 years as Group CFO at SurfControl plc before it was acquired by Websense. Prior to that Simon was a partner in KPMG's US Corporate Finance Practice, where he specialised in providing advice on corporate development strategy and M&A services to software and IT services companies.

Scott McAlindin is a senior insurance and financial services executive with nearly 40 years of experience leading claims, underwriting and IT operations for several large carriers in the US including Aetna, Travelers, AIG and Hartford. Most recently, Scott was the Chief Claims Officer for MAPFRE Insurance, a global insurance business and a Tier 1 carrier in North America. During his seven years at MAPFRE, Scott led the design and delivery of numerous proprietary claim service techniques that contributed to significant reductions in expenses, acceleration of claim cycle times, and dramatic improvements in customer services to policyholders.
