Contract awards

The Board of Digital Barriers plc, the specialist provider of advanced surveillance technologies to the security and defence sectors, is pleased to announce the award of a contract by an existing UK-based customer. The contract, valued at Β£3.6 million, is expected to be fulfilled within the next six months and has the potential for additional future orders. The contract is for the provision of a fully-integrated technology solution, and includes a range of Digital Barriers' products for unattended ground sensor capabilities.

Digital Barriers is also pleased to announce the award of a contract from a new and significant Government customer in Asia-Pacific for the provision of ThruVision passive screening technology for border security. Valued at around Β£400,000 and to be fulfilled this financial year, this initial contract was awarded following a full competitive process and is expected to lead to further product sales next financial year.
