AGM statement and trading update
Thruvision Group plc (AIM: THRU), a leading provider of walk-through security technology ("Thruvision" or the "Company" and, together with its subsidiary undertakings, the "Group"), announces that at the Company's Annual General Meeting, being held later today, Tom Black, Chairman, will provide the following update on trading for the six months ended 30 September 2025 ("H1 2026").
"Revenue for H1 2026 increased by 36% to £2.6 million (H1 2025: £1.9 million), with approximately £1.6 million derived from the Entrance market, which includes prisons, and £1.0 million from Retail Distribution sales. The Entrance market revenue included a previously announced contract for 20 systems in excess of £1 million from a new government customer in Asia. There was no significant revenue from the Customs or Aviation markets during H1 2026, although there is active customer engagement in both of these markets which we are hopeful will lead to sales in H2 2026.
"The business experienced a slow-down in sales closures in the second quarter, as previously reported, although sales activity remains high and several high-value opportunities are currently being pursued across our target markets.
"During the period, we have broadened our reach with additions to our reseller network. We have also successfully completed testing under the UK Government National Protective Security Authority's Threat Detection Systems Test Method.
"At 30 September 2025, cash was £2.1 million (31 March 2025: £0.4 million) with inventory of £3.7 million (31 March 2025: £5.2 million)."
