Grant of Security over Shareholding
The Company was notified on 21 January 2009 by Robert Adair, Chairman of the Company, that 111,866,071 and 16,890,168Β ordinary shares of 2p each of the CompanyΒ ("THG Shares")Β owned by him and family trusts have been used as security for personal loansΒ with HBOS plc and HSBC Holdings plcΒ respectively that were entered into onΒ 18Β May 2006Β andΒ 27 May 2008 respectively.

The Company was also notified on 21 January 2009 by RobertΒ Adair, Chairman of the Company, that onΒ 12 January 2007Β he entered into trust arrangements withΒ Lloyds of London in respect of 835,000Β THG SharesΒ to provide security for insurance underwriting.
