Thorpe(F.W.) PLC24 October 2007 F W THORPE PLC ISSUE OF EQUITY The Company announces that on 23 October 2007 it issued 8,483 new ordinaryshares pursuant to the exercise of options under the F W Thorpe plc 1998Executive Share Option Scheme. Application has been made to the London StockExchange plc for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Admission isexpected to be on 30 October 2007. Total Voting Rights Following the issue of the above 8,483 new ordinary shares there will be a totalnumber of shares in issue of 11,913,559 ordinary shares. The Company has noTreasury or other non voting shares and therefore the total number of votingshares is 11,913,559. This number can be used as the denominator whendetermining any disclosable interest in the voting share capital of the Companyunder the Disclosure and Transparency Rules. Directors Interest David Lippold has exercised options over 4,359 ordinary shares, (includedabove), representing 0.04 percent of the issued voting capital of the Company atan exercise price of 117p per share. Following this exercise David will have aninterest in 18,500 ordinary shares representing 0.16 percent of the issuedvoting capital of the Company. As previously announced, David ceases to be adirector on 31 October 2007 and therefore on that date will cease to have adisclosable interest in the share capital of the Company.
