Telefonica O2 Czech Republic, A.S.31 May 2007 Press release With O2 Internet ADSL Start, lightning-fast Internet is really available toeveryone Date: 31. 5. 2007 From June 1, 2007, Telefonica O2 Czech Republic is offering a new service called O2 Internet ADSL Start, which provides customers with the cheapest broadbandInternet connection in the Czech Republic for just CZK 179 per month (with VAT).Customers get lightning-fast Internet at a speed of 2 Mb/s without any kind ofdata transfer limit, or fair user policy (FUP). The new service includes twohours of surfing in the monthly fee. For every minute that the customer spendsonline after this time has elapsed, the customer pays just CZK 1 (with VAT). "Our research has indicated that in the Czech Republic there are still manypeople who use the Internet primarily at work. At home they either do not have aconnection or they have one with a lower speed, or they even use a dial-upconnection. Therefore, we have decided to address this group of customers andprepare a service for them that comes at a very favorable price, with a highconnection speed, an unlimited quantity of transferred data, and a billingmethod that is familiar to them," stated Simon Burckhardt, Chief Sales Officer,Telefonica O2 Czech Republic. Service activation costs a mere crown if the customer decides to sign a 12-monthcontract for the usage of O2 Internet ADSL Start. They can also get a Zyxelmodem for CZK 1 (without VAT). Without a contract the activation fee is CZK2,368 (with VAT). O2 Internet ADSL Start can be ordered at all O2 Shops, onlineat www.cz.o2.com, or through the toll-free Customer Care Line at 800 02 02 02. Customers who want a connection without time limits can choose from an offer oftariffs with a flat monthly fee and speeds ranging from 2 to 8 Mb/s. Thesecustomers can also take advantage of the offer of a CZK 1 (without VAT)activation fee by signing a 12-month contract, as well as a Well ADSL modem forCZK 1 (without VAT), which has already been prepared for use with the O2 TVservice.
