Eco City Vehicles PLC (the "Company")
Eco City Vehicle Plc is pleased to announce that its Mercedes Vito Taxi has received approval from both Manchester City and Reading Councils to operate in their controlled licensing areas, representing the first such approvals from authorities outside London. The first orders by Reading drivers have been placed and the Company expects further local authorities to give similar approvals in the near future.
The Company is also please to announce that, despite the current economic climate, the 50th Mercedes Vito Taxi has now been licensed in London and the Board is confident that with the advanced orders already received its estimated target for this financial year will be reached.
