Notification of transaction by Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
Tate & Lyle PLC (the 'Company') was informed that 15,065 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company ('Shares') were released on 4 September 2020 to Andrew Taylor, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities, in accordance with the Restricted Share Award that was granted to him on 24 November 2017. 6,674 shares were withheld to satisfy tax obligations arising on the release of the Shares. As a result, Mr. Taylor acquired and retained a total of 8,391 Shares. For tax purposes, the market value of the Shares, being the average of the two closing prices on the date of the transaction, was 674.2 pence per share. No consideration was paid for the acquisition of these Shares.
