Tanfield Group PLC26 July 2007 THE TANFIELD GROUP PLC ('Tanfield' or 'the Group') ACQUISITION UPDATE Further to the announcement on Monday 23 July 2007, following the completion ofboth the acquisition of Snorkel Holdings LLC and the receipt of clearances fromthe United States antitrust enforcement agencies under the United StatesHart-Scott-Rodino Improvements Act of 1976 on Wednesday 25 July 2007, admissionof 77,324,148 new ordinary shares will occur and dealings commence on AIM on 27July 2007. These ordinary shares will rank pari passu in all respects with theexisting ordinary shares currently traded on AIM. Following admission there willbe 370,286,089 Ordinary Shares in issue.
