Yule Catto & Co PLC21 August 2007 Yule Catto & Co plc Appointment of non-executive directors Yule Catto is an international producer of speciality chemicals, supplied toglobal customers for use in a wide range of industries includingpharmaceuticals, FMCG, paints and adhesives Yule Catto & Co plc ("Yule Catto" or "the Group") is pleased to announce theappointment, with effect from 20 August, of two non-executive directors. Mr Jeremy (Jez) Maiden, 46, is chief finance officer of Northern Foods plc. Heis a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and hasextensive financial experience in the chemical industry, having previously beengroup finance director at both British Vita plc and Hickson International plc. Dr Alexander (Sandy) Dobbie, 56, has a PhD in chemistry and some 30 years'international industrial experience in speciality chemicals having held seniorpositions at the Kelco division of Merck & Co Inc, Brent International plc andOctel Corporation. He is a founding director of Cogency, which providesspecialist advice on investment in the chemical sector and is chairman ofChemical Sciences Scotland and of Evolva, a Swiss-based biotech company. Commenting on the appointments, Anthony Richmond-Watson, Chairman, said: "We are delighted to welcome Jez Maiden and Sandy Dobbie to the Yule CattoBoard.
