Spectris - Third quarter 2025 trading update

30 October 2025 - Spectris plc (SXS: LSE), the expert in providing insight through precision measurement, provides a trading update for the three-month period ended 30 September 2025 ('the period').

Sales

Group reported sales in the period were £335.6 million (Q3 2024: £302.7 million), 11% higher on a reported basis and 4% higher on a like-for-like1 basis, continuing the improvement experienced in the second quarter.

By division, Spectris Scientific sales were 12% higher on a reported basis and 5% higher on a like-for-like1 basis, while Spectris Dynamics sales were 10% higher on a reported basis and 4% higher on a like-for-like1 basis.

Outlook

We continue to expect full year adjusted operating profit to be in line with management expectations.

Regarding the acquisition of Spectris by KKR, we are in an advanced stage of preparation for completion.
