Board Changes
Starvest PLC (LON:SVE), the London Stock Exchange AIM listed specialist mining and resources investment business, announces changes to the Board of Directors.
Highlights
· Non-Executive Director, John Watkins, resigns from the board
· Anthony Scutt appointed as Non-Executive Director bringing extensive corporate and sector experience to Starvest plc
Callum Baxter, Chairman and CEO commented: "Today we announce the retirement of long standing board member John Watkins and the appointment of Anthony Scutt as a Non-Executive director. We welcome Anthony who has over 30 years financial management experience including senior positions with large multi-national businesses."
Board Changes
The Company announces the resignation on 8 May 2018 of John Watkins who has been a Non-Executive Director since July 2017 and previously held the position of Finance Director for over 15 years with Starvest plc. We are grateful to John for his long-standing service to the Company. His advice, loyalty and commitment over the years have been invaluable and we wish him well in his future endeavours.
Starvest has appointed Anthony Scutt to the position of Non-Executive Director of Starvest with immediate effect. Anthony has previously held the position of Non-Executive Director with Starvest. He is a qualified Chartered Secretary and a Certified Internal Auditor with the US Institute of Internal Auditors. Anthony has over 30 years of financial management experience and has worked in many parts of the world including Asia and Africa and latterly as the Chief Internal Auditor of Shell UK. He is also former Chairman of Oracle Power ('Oracle') (LON:ORCP) where he currently serves as a Non-Executive Director.
The following additional information is provided in accordance with paragraph (g) of Schedule Two of the AIM Rules for Companies in relation to the appointment of Anthony Charles Raby Scutt(aged 77):

Mr Scutt holds an interest in 623,173 ordinary shares in Starvest, either solely or jointly, representing approximately 1.18 per cent of the existing issued ordinary shares. As noted above, Mr Scutt is a director of Oracle Power Plc, an investee company in which Starvest hold an interest of 1.87 per cent.
