S&U plc ("S&U" or "the Company")Director/PDMR Shareholding andNotification of Major Interest in Shares

S&U were advised today that Mrs CMG Coombs, mother of Anthony Coombs, Chairman of S&U has, on 21 November 2011, transferred 200,000 S&U Ordinary shares at nil cost to Anthony Coombs, Chairman of S&U; and 200,000 S&U Ordinary shares at nil cost to Graham Coombs Deputy Chairman of S&U.

Following this transaction, the beneficial shareholding of Mrs CMG Coombs is 1,587,795 Ordinary shares representing 13.5% of the total voting rights of the Company, the beneficial shareholding of Anthony Coombs is 727,330 ordinary shares representing 6.2% of the total voting rights of the Company, and the beneficial shareholding of Graham Coombs is 787,970 ordinary shares representing 6.7% of the total voting rights of the Company.
