Changes to Board of STV Group plc

Appointment of Genevieve Shore to Board of STV Group plc

STV Group plc announces the appointment of Genevieve Shore as a non-executive director to the board of STV Group plc with effect from 1 March 2012. Genevieve will replace Matthew Peacock who resigned as non-executive director today, having served on the board since February 2007.

Genevieve Shore's career includes extensive digital, technology and commercial experience in the media, publishing and technology sectors.

Genevieve currently sits on the management board of Pearson plc, reporting to Marjorie Scardino, as Chief Information Officer and Director of Digital Strategy of Pearson plc. Previously Genevieve has held leadership roles with Pearson Group including Global Digital Director, Penguin, and Group Sales Director, Penguin.
