AGM Statement
Stilo International plc ("Stilo" or the "Company") (AIM:STL), the AIM quoted provider of content processing technology and cloud content conversion services, is holding its Annual General Meeting later today. At the meeting Chairman David Ashman will make the following statement:
"The global market for dynamically publishing digital content to desktop computers, laptops, tablets and mobile devices is rapidly expanding. Large organisations are increasingly looking to structure and manage their content resources in XML format, driving the requirement for automated XML content conversion solutions.
Stilo Migrate, the world's first cloud XML content conversion service, is continuing to build upon its leading position in the DITA XML publishing market with new corporate customers this year including TIBCO Software, Varian Medical Systems and VCE.
To extend our sales channels and address additional business opportunities, we have recently introduced a Migrate Partner Programme, targeting XML technology solution vendors and consultants. The Programme has been well received and in April we announced our first Partner Agreement with Astoria Software in the USA. It is expected that further partnerships will be announced over the coming months, and will contribute to sales revenue in 2013.
Migrate functionality has been extended, with a new DocBook to DITA XML conversion capability released in March. Similarly we continue to develop our core technology, OmniMark, having announced the release of version 10.1 in February.
The Company remains entirely un-geared with an improving cash position which at 30 April 2013 stood at £1,072,000 (31 December 2012: £976,000).
With leading technology, in a growing market, the Company is well placed to make progress in 2013."
