SJP announces the following changes in SJP shares held by the executive Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMRs") named below.

Award of SJP Shares Under the SJP 2010 Share Incentive Plan ("SIP")

On 28 March 2011, SJP awarded the following SJP ordinary 15p shares under the SIP to the executive Director and PDMRs set out in the table below, at a price of 327.75p per share, in return for £1,500 being deducted from their pre-tax salary. The shares will be held by an employee benefit trust (SJP Aesop Trustees Limited) (the "Trustee") on behalf of the executive Director and PDMRs named below for a minimum period of three years from the date of award.

Connected Person - Exercise of Option and Sale of Shares

On 28 March 2011, executive Director, Andrew Croft, notified SJP that on 23 March 2011 a connected person exercised an option to acquire ordinary 15p shares in SJP under the SJP Partner Share Option Scheme 2000 with an exercise price of 145 pence per ordinary share and as a result, acquired on exercise 5,799 ordinary SJP shares. The connected person subsequently sold 5,799 ordinary SJP shares on 23 March 2011 at a price of 320.36 pence per ordinary share.

Following the above transaction, Mr Croft's beneficial and non-beneficial holdings in SJP are unchanged, as set out below.

Non-Executive Director - Acquisition of Shares

On 29 March 2011, non-Executive Director, Charles Gregson, notified SJP that a connected person had acquired 4,235 SJP shares on 28 March 2011 at a price of 332.60 pence per ordinary share.

The executive Directors and PDMRs interests in ordinary shares of SJP after the above transactions are as follows:

With the exception of the changes notified in this announcement, the executive Director and PDMRs shareholdings in SJP are unchanged. This notification is made in accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a).
