St. James's Place plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Helen Beck as an Independent Non-executive Director with effect from 1 July 2025. Upon appointment, Helen will be the Designated Non-executive Director for Workforce Engagement and a member of the Group Risk Committee and Group Remuneration Committee.

Helen has more than 30 years of business leadership and consultancy experience gained from non-executive roles and executive positions in Human Resources across the Financial Sector. Between 2013 and 2021 Helen was the Head of the Financial Service Remuneration Practice at Deloitte, specialising in reward structures for FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and private companies. Prior to that she held a number of Executive roles including at Standard Bank and McLagan Partners (part of AON plc). Helen was formerly a Non-executive Director and chair of the Remuneration Committee of Ashmore Group PLC.

Helen is a Non-executive Director and chair of the Remuneration Committees of Funding Circle Holdings PLC and Picton Property Income Limited. Since April 2025 she has been a Non-executive Director of Hampshire Bank Trust.

There is no other information regarding Helen Beck's appointment to be disclosed under paragraph 6.4.8R of the UK Listing Rules.
