Result of General Meeting
Stellar Diamonds plc, the London quoted (AIM: STEL) diamond mining and exploration company focused on West Africa, is pleased to announce that at the Company's General Meeting, held earlier today, all resolutions proposed were duly passed.
The resolutions that were passed authorises the Company to issue 94,275,000 Placing Shares being issued pursuant to the conditional placing, announced on 30 July 2013.
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that Admission will become effective and dealings in the Placing Shares will commence on 20 August 2013. Following Admission, the total issued share capital of the Company will be 492,571,076 Ordinary Shares.
The Placing Shares will be issued credited as fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects, including the right to receive all dividends and other distributions declared on or after the date on which they are issued.
