Steppe Cement Limited25 June 2007 Steppe Cement LimitedUpdate on Trading Position Steppe Cement Limited advises that it expects its cement sales for the six monthperiod to 30 June 2007 will be approximately 380,000 tonnes for total revenue ofUS$ 36.0 m. This compares with 365,443 tonnes for total revenue of US$28.6 m forthe six month period ended 30 June 2006. Prices for cement appear to be set to continue to strengthen through the summermonths as demand typically rises during this time of the year. All four of the company's wet lines have been fully operational since April 2007and production levels are now stable at 72,000 tonnes of cement per month. Therefurbishment of the company's dry lines continues to advance consistent withprevious market announcements.
