Steppe Cement Limited26 April 2006 Steppe Cement Limited Proposed Board Changes Steppe Cement Limited confirms that its Chairman, Azmi Wan Hamzah, proposes tostand down from the board following the Company's Annual General Meeting to beheld on 4 May 2006. John Richardson (an existing non executive director) will assume the role ofChairman and the Company is considering appointing a new non-executive directorto the board experienced in the cement industry at a senior level and also inKazakhstan. The Company expects to advise the market of this appointment inadvance of the Annual General Meeting.
