Secure Trust Bank PLC ("STB" or the "Company") has today been notified by Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC ("Arbuthnot"), that on 13 December 2013 Arbuthnot sold 580,000 STB ordinary shares, representing 3.7 per cent. of STB's current issued ordinary share capital, at a price of 2,500 pence per share.
As a result of this disposal, Arbuthnot's holding in STB's ordinary shares has reduced from 11,066,205 shares (70.7 per cent.) to 10,486,205 shares (67.0 per cent)., increasing the free float of the Company.
Following this disposal, Arbuthnot has agreed not to sell any further ordinary shares in STB for a period of six months, other than with the consent of Canaccord Genuity, STB's Nominated Adviser and Broker.
