Notice to the holders of U.S.$1,000,000,000 3.785 per cent. Fixed-to-Floating Rate Notes due 2025 (the "Notes") issued by Standard Chartered PLC ("SCPLC")ISIN: US853254BN98 / XS2001187405

Notice of redemption

Notice is hereby given to the holders of the Notes that, pursuant to the Final Terms dated 16 May 2019 relating to the Notes (the "Final Terms"), SCPLC will exercise its right to redeem all outstanding Notes on 21 May 2024. Accordingly, on 21 May 2024, all of the Notes shall be redeemed at their Call Option Redemption Amount (as defined in the Final Terms), together with all accrued but unpaid interest. The listing of the Notes on the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority and the admission of the Notes to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange plc will be cancelled on, or shortly after, 22 May 2024.

SCPLC confirms that the Prudential Regulation Authority has given its consent to the redemption of the Notes.
