Trading update
SciSys plc (AIM: SSY), ('SciSys' or the 'Company') - the supplier of bespoke ICT software systems, IT based business solutions and support services to the Media Broadcast, Space, Government & Defence, Environment and Application Support sectors, is today providing a trading update for the period ending 30 June 2011 prior to entering its close period and ahead of announcing interim results on 29 September 2011.
Trading for the first half of 2011 has been in line with expectations consistent with current guidance for the 2011 full year.
SciSys has maintained a solid order book throughout the six month period. Although this provides a firm foundation for the full year's trading, the Company remains alert to the broader economic uncertainty.
During the period, SciSys completed the freehold purchase of its headquarters building on the terms set out in the trading statement issued in May 2011.
