ANNOVA Systems GmbH wins strategic contractwith German prime news channel

SCISYS PLC ("SCISYS"), the supplier of bespoke software systems, IT-based solutions and support services to the media & broadcast, space, government, defence and commercial sectors, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, ANNOVA Systems GmbH ("ANNOVA"), has signed a strategic €0.8m contract with the German public broadcaster ARD-aktuell for a cross-media planning portal for its national prime news programmes, including 'Tagesschau'.

This is a strategic win for ANNOVA, who will develop a portal for ARD-aktuell based on the ground-breaking, proprietary product OpenMedia Newsboard. This solution will give its journalists a powerful web-based tool that bolsters their existing OpenMedia installation by providing an extended research capability that in addition covers the entire world wide web and social media networks.

This project is the second major win by ANNOVA this month and it further underscores SCISYS' confidence in the current market guidance. Work will commence in September 2017 and continue for approximately 18 months.
