Contract win: SCISYS secures £2.4m contract in the defence sector
SCISYS Group PLC ("SCISYS" AIM SSY; ESM: SCC), the supplier of bespoke software systems, IT-based solutions and support services to the space, media & broadcast, government, defence and commerce sectors, is pleased to announce that SCISYS UK Limited has been awarded a contract in the defence sector. This contract is for follow-on-work, continuing a defence project started in 2016 which SCISYS delivered successfully to schedule. The workstreams are software support and configuration management services, coupled with software development and enhancement.
This project is in the arena of Logistics Information Services, and will further SCISYS's expertise in this domain.
The total contract value is £2.4m and will commence this month, continuing until December 2020. This contract win does not alter existing market guidance.
