SCISYS PLENITER product to support OneWeb's Deployment of the World's Largest Satellite Constellation

 

SCISYS PLC ('SCISYS' or the 'Company'; AIM: SSY) - the supplier of bespoke software systems, IT-based solutions and support services to the media, space, government, defence and environment sectors - is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with WorldVu Satellites, Ltd. dba OneWeb, a global satellite communications service provider who is building the world's largest satellite constellation that will provide connectivity to billions of people around the world. SCISYS will deliver satellite mission-planning software based on its PLENITER® product suite for the OneWeb constellation, comprising several hundred satellites.

 

The satellite mission-planning software by SCISYS is part of its new modular PLENITER® mission-operations product suite - a flexible and reliable solution that covers all tasks relevant to spacecraft missions. The PLENITER® product is just one element of SCISYS' growth strategy: it will help to position SCISYS Space in the arena of commercial space flight and further improve the company's competitive edge in the well-established public space sector.

 

This contract win links SCISYS with a select group of leading technology companies in the international space business and will support one of the most ambitious communications satellite mission in decades.
