SciSys plc (AIM:SSY) ("Scisys" or the "Company") announces that, on 28 September 2009, as part of its ongoing commitment to its staff, it offered 2,000 shares to each of the Directors and UK employees. Of the 312 staff extended this opportunity, the Company is pleased to announce that 93% accepted and that application has been made for 578,000 new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM.
The shares will be issued at 47.50 pence per share pursuant to a subscription by the Trustees of the Company's Share Incentive Plan (the "Trust"). The consideration for the shares will be satisfied by way of a cash gift from the Company to the Trust.
As a result the Trust is now interested in 1,095,622 ordinary shares in the Company representing approximately 3.8% of the issued share capital
As a result of their accepting the offer, the directors' interests have increased as follows:

Dealings in the new ordinary shares are expected to commence on 21st October 2009 following which the company will have 29,058,275 shares in issue (of which 51,792 are held in treasury).
