Safestay (AIM:SSSTY), the owner and operator of a new brand of contemporary hostel, announces the appointment of Hervé Deligny, who will join the Board as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary with effect from 14 August 2018.

Hervé has a wealth of commercial and financial experience within European hospitality and joins the Company from onefinestay Group, an operator of 10,000 private rental properties and part of AccorHotels, where he was Chief Finance Officer. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of HoteIInvest in the UK, the property and investment arm of AccorHotels, covering a portfolio of 97 hotels across the UK. Herve was also Chief Financial Officer and a Company Director for AccorHotels UK having held a number of management positions in Finance within the AccorHotels group in both London and Paris. Hervé began his career in Audit at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has over 20 years' experience in finance. He holds a Masters degree from the University of Paris IX Dauphine.

At the same time, Sharon Segal will be stepping down from the position of Finance Director and Company Secretary.
