SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC ("SRT" or the "Company") US$500,000 AIS Class A Order Received
Software Radio Technology plc ("SRT" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has received a new order worth US$500,000, together with the required initial payment, from an existing customer for its recently launched AIS Class A transceiver.
SRT's AIS Class A product was launched earlier this year and commenced production and deliveries in May. The global demand from both commercial and leisure segments for AIS continues to grow with mandates requiring a mixture of both Class A and Class B products.
Simon Tucker, SRT's Chief Executive Officer said: "This order demonstrates the continuing success of our customers with our products in the growing global AIS market. In addition, our operations team is making strong progress in ramping up production with our manufacturing partner to ensure we meet our customers' needs."
