SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC ("SRT" or the "Company") Two TETRA Licence Agreements Signed
SRT is pleased to announce that it has signed two licence agreements in respect of its retained TETRA technology portfolio.
SRT is actively marketing its licences for its portfolio TETRA technology on the basis of an upfront cash fee plus ongoing royalties. Upon granting of the licence, SRT has no further liabilities or support obligations.
Simon Tucker, Group Managing Director said, "We are one of the few companies in the world to own a complete, approved and proven TETRA handset solution. The TETRA market is growing strongly, prices are high and competition is limited due to the high technological barriers to entry. With this background, we believe that our technology, which enables companies to enter the market quickly with a low level of risk, will prove to be an attractive proposition. This would generate an additional income stream for SRT without any significant associated cost."
