SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC Board Appointment

The Directors of Software Radio Technology plc ("SRT" or the "Company") are pleased to announce that Dr. George Kyprios has joined the Board of the Company with effect from 17 December 2007.

In November 2007, George joined SRT PMR Technology Limited as Managing Director with the objective of developing the business and maximising the various opportunities that the growing digital PMR market offers.

Simon Tucker, Group Managing Director of SRT, said: "Since joining SRT PMR Technology, George has proven his ability to drive the business forward. I am delighted that George has now joined the SRT Board and am sure his experience will bring significant benefits."

George Kyprios, aged 51, is currently a director of Arator Limited and within the last five years was also a director of Agendo Limited.

Mr. Kyprios has confirmed that there is no further disclosure required under the AIM Rules for Companies.
