Response to Press Speculation

Sirius Petroleum (AIM:SRSP), the Company focussed on oil and gas development and production opportunities in Nigeria, notes the recent press speculation regarding an equity fundraising for the Ororo 1 well. The Company confirms that it is in the process of raising funds in order to bring its offshore assets into production and to provide it with additional working capital. The fundraising is not yet concluded and the Company will update shareholders in due course.
