Sirius Petroleum plc (AIM: SRSP) announces that it was yesterday notified that on 14 October 2009, Mike Hirschfield and Toby Hayward, directors of the Company, purchased 3,100,000 and 2,900,000 ordinary shares of 0.25p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') respectively at a price of 5.0 pence per Ordinary Share.
Following these transactions, the interests of Mr Hirschfield and Mr Hayward are as follows:
Mr Hirschfield is interested in 14,300,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 2.85% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
Mr Hayward is interested in 25,400,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.05% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
