Director Dealing and SAYE Scheme
Springfield Properties plc (AIM: SPR), a leading housebuilder in Scotland delivering private and affordable housing, announces the grant of options over ordinary shares of 0.125 pence each ("Options") to employees, including certain Directors, of the Company under its Save As You Earn (SAYE) scheme.
Innes Smith, Chief Executive Officer, and Michelle Motion, Chief Financial Officer, have each subscribed for 21,226 Options at a price of 0.125 pence per Option. The Options have an exercise price of 130.05 pence, representing a 10% discount to the closing price of the Company's ordinary shares on the day preceding the invitation to employees to participate in the SAYE scheme.
In total, 330 employees elected to participate in the SAYE scheme, representing over 50% of the Company's workforce. Pursuant to these elections, a total of 2,094,548 Options were granted on 29 April 2021, equating to 2.1% of the current issued share capital.
The Options have a contract start date of 1 June 2021 and are exercisable between 1 June 2024 and 30 November 2024, subject to the employee, including the Directors, continuing to be in the employment of the Company.
