Sportech PLC11 November 2005 Sportech PLC Directorate Change Following on from the recent appointment of Piers Pottinger as Non-ExecutiveDeputy Chairman, the Board of Sportech PLC ('Sportech' or 'the Company') ispleased to announce that John Barnes is joining as a Non-Executive Director,with immediate effect. Mr. Barnes, 56, has over 34 years of consumer brand and leisure industryexperience. He led the development and sale of Harry Ramsden's Plc as ExecutiveChairman and has held senior positions at Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo in Europeand the USA. In addition to this he was previously a Non-Executive Director ofArena Leisure Plc and Yates Group plc. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of La Tasca Group Plc and Zoo DigitalGroup Plc. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Caffe Nero Plc, Hardy andHanson's Plc and Interior Services Group plc. Commenting on the appointment, Ian Penrose, Chief Executive, said:"I am delighted that John Barnes is joining Sportech. He has extensive commercial experience in both Europe and the USA and his broad knowledge ofmarketing and the leisure industry will be of great benefit to the Company.
