Appointment of Chief Financial Officer
Sportech PLC, one of the world's leading operators and suppliers of pools and tote gaming, is delighted to announce the appointment of Cliff Baty as Chief Financial Officer to Sportech. Cliff will be based at Sportech's Head Office in London, UK, and will report directly to Ian Penrose, Chief Executive.
Cliff, aged 42, joins us from Ladbrokes plc, where he is currently Finance Director of both its International businesses and Corporate Development. Prior to this, he was Finance Director of its eGaming business. Cliff has been with Ladbrokes for 7 years and prior to that was Group Financial Controller of Hilton Group plc. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young, where he worked for 10 years.
Cliff will join the Board of Sportech and assume the role of Chief Financial Officer on 13 May 2013. As previously stated in our announcement on 15 November 2012, Steve Cunliffe, the current Finance Director, will be leaving the company on 6 March 2013.

Sportech confirms that there is no further information to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 of the listing rules with regard to this appointment.
