("Superglass" or "the Company")

Award of Shares to Director

The Company announces that on 20th December 2010 an award of 583,657 ordinary shares of 1 pence in the Company was made to Alex McLeod, Chief Executive of Superglass, for no consideration and subject to certain performance criteria set by the remuneration committee, under the Superglass Holdings PLC Performance Share Plan ("the Plan").

It is expected that Shares granted under the Plan will vest three years after grant, subject to, inter alia, certain performance related criteria being met.

Awards granted under the Plan will be subject to an adjusted earnings per share ("EPS") performance condition, measured over a three-year period commencing with the financial year in which the awards are granted. EPS in future periods will be calculated by adding back amortisation and exceptional costs to profit. Notional EPS in respect of the base period will be calculated using the same adjustments together with a notional increase in earnings of £450k.

25% of an award will vest if the Company achieves EPS growth of 25% over the performance period, increasing on a straight-line basis until EPS growth over the performance period equals or exceeds 50%, at which point 100% of an award will vest.

1. The Company has 57,938,333 Ordinary Shares in issue.

2. The Company now has a total of 1,916,286 share awards and options outstanding, under the CSOP and PSP schemes, representing 3.31% of the issued share capital of the Company.

3. The notification of these option awards is intended to satisfy the Company's obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4.
