APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

The board of Superglass Holdings PLC, the UK's only independent manufacturer of glass mineral wool insulation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jan Holmstrom as non-executive director with immediate effect.Jan Gustaf Lennart Holmstrom, aged 63, is an internationally experienced director having spent 30 years of his career in the financial markets in Stockholm, Hong Kong and London.

Mr Holmstrom is currently a director of a number of Peter Gyllenhammar AB investee companies, namely Browallia Holdings Limited, The Union Discount Company of London Limited, International Fibres Group AB and Chairman of Johnson and Starley Limited and Leeds Group Plc. Peter Gyllenhammar AB has a 38.3% interest in Superglass Holdings PLC.

Mr Holmstrom's previous non-executive directorships within the last five years were Densitron Technologies Plc, Pittards Plc, 21st Century Technology Plc, Chapelthorpe Plc and Dawson International Plc. The latter company was placed into administration in August 2012 following failure to reach agreement on a plan to address the deficit on its defined benefit pension schemes. Mr Holmstrom was also a director of Hartest Holdings plc until August 2010.

Save as set out above, there are no disclosures to be made under Schedule Two, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules in relation to Mr Holmstrom's appointment.
