Immersion Technologies Intl PLC30 January 2008 30 January 2008 Immersion Technologies International plc ("Immersion" or "the Company") Company Update: Board Changes Immersion, which specialises in product development, design and manufacture ofHigh Definition-Acoustic ("HD-A(R)") technology, announces that: (a) Mr Craig Evans has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer and haswithdrawn his nomination to be reappointed as a director of the Company prior tothe AGM to be held on 30 January 2008. Mr Evans will continue to consult to theCompany on manufacturing and product development. (b) Mr Gregory Turnidge has stepped down as Chairman and has withdrawnhis nomination to be reappointed as a director of the company prior to the AGM. (c) Mr David Lenigas has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman. MrLenigas is currently the Executive Chairman of Lonrho plc, a pan-African companywith a diverse portfolio of investments focusing on Africa. Its investmentsrange from primary infrastructure to transportation, support services, hotelsand leisure and natural resources. It is quoted on AIM with a market value of£136.8 million. He has extensive experience operating in the AIM environment andis currently a non-executive director (formerly Chairman) of Mediterranean Oil &Gas PLC. He is also non-executive director of GCM Resources PLC and RiverDiamonds PLC and was Chairman of BDI Mining Corp until its takeover in 2007.David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Mining Engineering and hasover 25 years of experience of establishing and growing smaller companies. (d) Mr Arie van den Broek, currently Chief Operating Officer, has beenappointed as interim Chief Executive Officer whilst the Company performs aworldwide search for a new CEO. Since Mr van den Broek has been with the Companyhe has been developing the sales and marketing strategy in order to introducenew customers to the Company's technology. Mr van den Broek was formerly GeneralManager with Nakamichi Corporation Limited. Mr David Lenigas, incoming Chairman of Immersion, said: "The Company has reached some significant milestones since the reverse takeoverin April 2007 and I am confident that the team and technology will continue toachieve greater heights in the coming months.
