Salt Lake Potash Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Bryn Jones as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Mr Jones is a Chemical Engineer with over 20 years' management experience in industrial processing in commercial and mining operations around the world, including potash and phosphate projects. Mr Jones has been closely involved with the development of the Goldfields Salt Lakes Project to date, as a senior consultant and Project Manager.

Mr Jason Baverstock has advised that he will today step down as a Director of the Company upon Mr Jones' appointment, to pursue other interests. Mr Baverstock was a founding director of Australia Salt Lake Potash Pty Ltd, which secured the original sulphate of potash projects acquired by the Company. The Board would like to thank him for his important contribution to the excellent progress achieved with the Goldfields Salt Lakes Project since the acquisition by the Company.

The Company's CEO, Mr Matt Syme, said "We are very pleased to appoint Mr Jones to the Board of Directors of the Company. Mr Jones has a deep understanding of the Company's projects and the technical elements of brine processing and will continue to be an important part of the Company's success. We also thank Mr Baverstock for his efforts as a founder and Director of the Company and wish him all the best with his future endeavours."

Mr Bryn Llywelyn Jones (aged 39) is, or has been, a director or partner of the following companies or partnerships during the past five years:

Mr Jones owns 200,000 performance rights under the Salt Lake Potash Limited Performance Rights Plan, which was approved by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting ("AGM") on 30 November 2016. The Performance Rights, which entitle the recipient to acquire Salt Lake Potash ordinary shares at nil cost, are subject to various performance conditions (including Pre-Feasibility Study, Definitive Feasibility Study, Project Construction and Production milestones) to be satisfied prior to the relevant expiry dates between 30 June 2018 and 30 June 2021. Mr Jones currently holds no ordinary shares in the capital of the Company.

There is no further information required to be disclosed in respect of the appointment of Mr Jones pursuant to Schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
