Synectics plc (the "Company" or the "Group")

The Company has today been notified that, on 21 September 2017, 30,000 ordinary shares of 20p each in the Company ("Shares") were sold by a company controlled by Mr David Coghlan, Chairman of the Company, to a company controlled by trusts for Mr Coghlan's family, at a price of 252.5p per share. Following the above transaction, Mr Coghlan retains an unchanged interest in 1,521,303 Shares, representing 8.55% of the Company's issued share capital. In addition, Mr Coghlan has an interest in 93,243 Shares under the Group share schemes, representing 0.52% of the Company's issued share capital.
