Trading Update

In February 2010, Sabien Technology Group plc (AIM: SNT), the manufacturer and supplier of M2G, an energy efficiency technology, announced that it had seen a significant year on year increase in sales quotations and a steadily increasing order book. At that time it was stated that the key priority for the forthcoming period was the conversion of this pipeline into orders and sales.

The nature of Sabien's activities involves targeting large multi-site customers, resulting in an order book that in value terms is highly concentrated at this stage of the Company's development. Contracts from these customers generally encompass a large number of individual sites and are mostly delivered via rolling framework contacts.

To date, Sabien's pipeline of inquiries, quotations and expected orders has continued to grow. Sales quotations made to date currently stand at £3.8 million. However, due to a number of reasons outside the Company's control, such as recent local elections and delays in private sector companies placing orders, a small number of large contracts with commercial terms agreed, which the Company had previously expected to receive and be recognised as revenue during the current financial period will now be delayed into the financial period ending 30 June 2011. This will result in a delay to the Company's move to profitability. No orders have been cancelled over this period and the Company has not received notification from any potential client that they do not still propose to place their expected orders.

An example of one such delay is a major contract with a Local Authority to deploy M2G across a large number of civic buildings and its commercial estate which is expected to be announced shortly but which will no longer contribute to sales recognised in 2010.

The Board remains confident in the progress made to date and the ability of Sabien to deliver on the commercial opportunity which presents itself in the Company's markets. We expect to provide a further update regarding new contract wins and new alliance partners shortly.
