Smallbone plc (the "Company")

Director's Dealing

The Company was notified on 31 July 2008 that Susan Smallbone, wife of Charles Smallbone, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Company, disposed of 20,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") held through a trust (Charles Smallbone no2 Settlement) at a price of 125.5 pence per Ordinary Share on 26 June 2008. Following the disposal, Mr. Smallbone has a beneficial interest in 8,440,553 ordinary shares, representing 37.2 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
