Appointment of New Director
Standard Life UK Smaller Companies Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Scholefield as an independent non-executive Director, with effect from 20 February 2017.
Mr Scholefield is currently a non-executive Director of F&C Capital and Income Trust Plc and Fidelity Asian Values Plc. In addition, he is a member of the Investment Committee of the General Medical Council.
Mr Scholefield was until 2014 Head of Equities at Baring Asset Management.
Mr Scholefield is an Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals. After his post graduate studies, he worked at Royal Sun Alliance Investments and Scottish Widows Investment Partnership before being appointed Head of Equities at Baring Asset Management in 2006.
As at the date of this announcement, Mr Scholefield has no beneficial interest in the Ordinary shares of the Company.
There are no other disclosures required under Section 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules.
