Slingsby(H.C.)Plc26 January 2005 HC Slingsby plc (the "Company") Director's Shareholding and Notifiable Interest The Company has been notified today that on 25 January 2005, Mr JF Slingsby(Chairman) purchased 10,000 ordinary shares in the Company for 1,325.5 pence pershare. Following this transaction, Mr JF Slingsby is interested in 92,138ordinary shares, representing 9.2 per cent. of the Company's issued sharecapital. The Company has been notified today that in accordance with section 198 of theCompanies Act 1985, as amended, H.C. Slingsby plc Retirement Benefits Schemesold 10,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 25 January 2005. Following thistransaction, H.C. Slingsby plc Retirement Benefits Scheme holds 30,061 ordinaryshares, representing 3.0 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
