Silence Therapeutics plc, AIM: SLN, ('the Company'), announces that it has issued 49,333 new ordinary shares of 5p each ("Ordinary Shares") following the exercise of share options under the Employee Share Scheme, at an exercise price of 90 pence per share.
Application has been made for the 49,333 Ordinary Shares issued to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). Admission is expected to take place on Monday, 29 September 2014. The Ordinary Shares shall rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in the Company.
The total number of shares in issue, following admission, will be 52,049,442.
