AGM Statement
At the Annual General Meeting of Boxhill Technologies Plc (AIM:BOX) the AIM quoted lottery, software, gaming and leisure company, being held later today at the offices of Allenby Capital, 3 St Helen's Place London EC3A 6AB, Non-executive Chairman Lord Razzall will make the following statement:
"The Company is continuing to build on last year's transformation having developed an e-commerce related offering and changed its name from The Weather Lottery plc to Boxhill Technologies plc. As such, the main focus moving forward is on developing the range of activities within the software, lottery, gaming and leisure sectors.
"In December I underlined improvements giving an indication of FYQ4 revenue (EBIT) in the range of £175,000 to £250,000 - based on seven live and seven yet to go live but signed contracts, which means that the Company will have an annualised profit of circa £1million. Since then the Company continues to perform as expected, with another live customer and four further substantial companies going through integration due to go live in the next eight weeks.
"As touched upon in our Final Results published last month our operating loss before exceptional items was £34,000, impairment of tangible and intangible assets was £382,000, Group operating loss £416,000, interest payable £22,000 and loss from ordinary activities £438,000.
"In terms of our future outlook, we continue to deliver against won contracts previously announced, and are completing further integrations with signed customers. We also have new products in the pipeline and will be embarking on a strengthened investor and public relations programme to improve shareholders' understanding of our services and the customers we serve."
