Directorship change and new appointments
The Board of Stanley Gibbons announces the resignation of Ian Goldbart from the Board, effective immediately. Ian was CEO of Noble Investments (UK) plc ("Noble") which was acquired by Stanley Gibbons in 2013. Noble has subsequently been successfully integrated into Stanley Gibbons, with the consolidation of the Baldwin's team into 399 Strand, London, completing in late 2014. The Board would like to thank Ian for the time he has spent on the Stanley Gibbons Board and the contribution he has made during that time.
The Board of Stanley Gibbons also announces the appointment of two executives to its operational management team. Peter Swanston has been appointed as Group Commercial Director and Martin Peterlechner as Group Marketing Director.
Peter was previously managing director of Samlerhuset Group BV, one of Europe's largest coin companies. Peter brings with him significant experience of digital transformation, direct to consumer marketing and internationalisation.
Martin has over 20 years of marketing experience having joined Stanley Gibbons from Royal London where he was head of marketing and communications. Previous to this Martin was head of internet for Tesco personal finance.
