Directors' shareholdings

SeaEnergy PLC, the energy company with a successful track record of partnering major corporations in renewable, oil services and in oil & gas, announces that, following an award by the SeaEnergy PLC Employee Benefit Trust ("EBT"), Executive Directors Steven Bertram and Chris Moar have acquired an additional interest in the Company's shares.

The EBT was established and funded by the Company for the purpose of rewarding Directors, officers and employees of the Company and its subsidiaries. The shares awarded were already held by the EBT and thus are non-dilutive.

The EBT has awarded shares to these Directors under a jointly owned arrangement, the EBT holds the beneficial interest in these shares up to the value of 42.75p (the closing mid-maket share price at 28 July 2011, being the latest practicable date prior to the award plus a 50% premium), and any value above that level will belong to the Directors. Steven Bertram has been awarded an interest in 103,048 shares and Chris Moar 96,478 shares. The Directors and the EBT have agreed not to dispose of the shares for a period of at least 2 years.

Following the above award, Steven Bertram and Chris Moar respectively, have interests in 843,648 (1.2%) and 199,094 (0.3%) ordinary shares of 10p each in SeaEnergy.
